colors
Description
This project explores how color reflects place, culture, and climate. In Konstanz, subtle greys and warm wood tones create a calm balance, while along the Amazon, vibrant hues mirror the rhythm of community life.
From ancient ochres to Le Corbusier’s Polychromie architecturale, colors have always been more than decoration. They carry stories of nature, trade, belief, and identity. Although meanings vary across cultures, with white symbolizing purity in Europe and mourning in Asia, climate and light continue to shape how we see and feel color.

The color cards invite experimentation and intuition. They connect memory, emotion, and imagination, turning color into a space between observation and creation.
